Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Service

Candidates must have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. examination to be eligible for the exam.

Candidates who have not yet passed the final M.B.B.S. exam may also apply, but their admission is provisional and subject to cancellation. If these candidates pass the written examination, they must submit proof of passing the final M.B.B.S. exam by the closing date of the Detailed Application Form. The proof of passing the final M.B.B.S. exam should be issued no later than the closing date of the Detailed Application Form.

Candidates who have not completed their compulsory rotating internship are still eligible for the exam but will only be appointed after completing the internship if selected.

• Visit the official website: Go to the official UPSC website: www.upsc.gov.in or the dedicated website for UPSC online applications: www.upsconline.nic.in.
• One Time Registration (OTR): If you haven't already, you must register on the UPSC's OTR platform. This is a one-time process where you provide your basic personal details, educational qualifications, etc.
• Fill out the application form: Once registered, log in and fill out the online application form for the CMS Examination 2025. Provide accurate information as required. Choose your preferred exam center.
• Upload documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other necessary documents as per the specified format and size.
• Pay the application fee: Pay the application fee online through the available payment modes (net banking, credit/debit card, etc.). Note: Some categories may be exempt from paying the fee.
• Apply: After completing all the steps, submit your application form. Take a printout of the submitted application for your records.
