The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 application process involves several steps. Here is a detailed guide:

1. Registration:

   • Visit the official GATE 2025 website or go to "Important Links" at the bottom of this page.
   • Click on the registration link and enter your details, including your name, email address, and mobile number.
   • Create a password for your account.
   • After successful registration, you will receive an Enrollment ID via email and SMS, which will be used for all future communications.

2. Filling the Application Form:

   • Log in using your Enrollment ID and password.
   • Fill out the application form with your details, educational qualifications, and GATE paper (subject) choice.
   • Select three exam cities in order of preference. The first two cities must be in the same zone, while the third can be from any zone.
   • Provide your address and other required information accurately.

3. Uploading Documents:

   • Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature as per the specified guidelines.
   • Upload scanned copies of your eligibility certificate (degree certificate or provisional certificate).
   • If you are in the final year, upload a certificate from the Head of your Department/Institute.
   • Provide a scanned copy of a valid photo ID (passport, government-issued ID, college ID, or employee ID).

4. Payment of Application Fee:

   • Pay the application fee online using net banking, debit card, or credit card.

5. Confirmation:

   • After successful payment, verify your application status on the GATE 2025 portal. If your status is "Under Scrutiny/Under Process," your application is under review.
   • Keep checking the portal for any updates or corrections required during the scrutiny process.
