3-Year Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering OR 2-Year Diploma through Lateral Entry to 2nd Year after HSC approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering. Should have had English as one of the subjects at either SSC or HSC Level Exam.

Note: Candidate who have pursued Diploma through lateral entry to second year Diploma after 10th (SSC) + ITI are not eligible.
1(b) Category-I Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) - Diploma Holders in Electrical Engineering 12
1(c) Category-I Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) - Diploma Holders in Electronics Engineering 11
2 Category-I Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) - Science Graduates B.Sc. (Physics) 04 B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage. Mathematics at H.S.C (10+2) level is essential.
English as one of the subjects either at. SSC or at HSC level examinations is compulsory. Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible
