LNMU Under Graduate(UG) Admission 2026-30

• 1. Educational Qualification

  • You must have successfully passed your 10+2 (Intermediate) examination (I.A. / I.Sc. / I.Com) or an equivalent exam.

  • The qualification must be from the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) or any other recognized National or State education board (such as CBSE, ICSE, etc.).

  2. Minimum Marks Requirement

  • Same Stream / Honours Subject: To opt for a specific subject as your Major/Honours, you generally need a minimum of 45% marks in that particular subject/stream in your 12th board exams.

  • Changing Streams: If you are changing your academic stream (e.g., switching from Science/Commerce to Arts), you typically need a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks in your 12th-grade exams.

  • Reserved Categories: Candidates belonging to SC/ST or other reserved categories may be eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks as per state government rules.

  3. Admission & Selection Process

  • Merit-Based: For traditional B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com programs, selection is primarily based on a Merit List generated from your Class 12 board exam scores.

  • Vocational Courses (BCA, BBA, etc.): For specialized or vocational degree programs, the university may conduct an entrance test or evaluate admissions through a separate merit process based on specific subject requirements (like Mathematics for BCA).

  4. Required Documents for Admission

  During the application and counseling process, you must be able to produce:

  • 10th and 12th Mark sheets and Passing Certificates

  • School/College Leaving Certificate (CLC/TC) and Migration Certificate

  • Caste/Category Certificate (if claiming reservation quotas)

  • Aadhar Card and valid ID proof

• Visit the official LNMU admission portal (lnmuadm.samarth.edu.in) and register using your active mobile number and email ID.

• Log in with your new credentials to accurately fill in your personal information and 10th/12th-grade academic marks.

• Upload clear, scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph, your signature, and your educational certificates.

• Choose your desired Honours (Major) subject and carefully select your preferred LNMU-affiliated colleges in order of priority.

• Pay the ₹500 application fee online (via UPI or card) and print the final confirmation receipt for future college verification.
